Child safety and wellbeing is a key priority for St Joseph’s Football and Netball Club (SJFNC) and we hereby declare our commitment to creating an environment that is safe and welcoming for all children and young people to participate in any activity at our club.
Our Club has zero tolerance to any form of child abuse or harm and will act quickly and in the best interest of the child or young person should an allegation of harm or abuse occur.
In order to keep our children safe we:
- Screen our volunteers via Working with Children Checks.
- Have a Wellbeing Team in place to act quickly on any incidents or concerns.
- Commit to supervising children while at the club, and
- Have policies and procedures to guide us, if we are faced with an incident, report or concern.
