Under the rules of Incorporation, nominations of candidates for election as office bearers must be made in writing and signed by two members and also the consent of the candidate.
The nomination must be delivered to the Secretary not less than 7 days prior to the date of the meeting.

If you wish to nominate a candidate for a position on the committee, please contact me.
Whilst a few members of 2017 committee are not seeking re-election, there are a number of committee positions that we need to fill for season 2017 and we encourage all members to seriously consider nominating so as to contribute to the ongoing success of the club, both on and off the field so if you are interested please contact myself or President Todd Devine to discuss what roles are available.

The footy season will continue into October when Geelong hosts this year’s AFL Masters carnival from October 2-7. Some of the games will be held at SJFNC 🇧🇪.

AFL Masters is the premier national football event for players aged 30 and above, and features both a men’s and women’s competition. The average age of participants is 47. Up to 1500 players and their families, as well as 300 coaches from all states and territories, will travel to Geelong for the week-long carnival.

Since it was established in 1980, AFL Masters has grown to 119 teams and features players of all abilities from novice to a footy stalwart.  More info here.

Earlier this year we took a group of 18 boys, from age 16 and over to the Marngoneet Correctional Centre.

The main aim of the venture was to show the boys the consequences of doing the wrong thing and to show them how the prisoners live day to day. Read more…
