On Saturday, we welcomed six of our eight Little Leagues teams, who played alongside our Reserves and Seniors.
We are fortunate to have those two ovals side by side which allowed this to happen.
Two of our U9 teams played each other, as did our two U10s, and our two U12s. Joeys never looked liked losing, and in fact, we won all games in a clean sweep!!! :)
U10s all singing together
The highlight was the U9 and 10 boys lining up to welcome the Seniors onto the park, followed by going into the rooms, and being in the middle of the circle while the Reserves sang the Joeys song wtih gusto! The boys were in seventh heaven!!
John McKinnon did a fantastic job in getting this day together...we hope that we can have many more, and build on it each time to make it even better. Many, many thanks to John.
Thanks also to the umpires of the games who did a fantatic job, Matt Maiden in the U9s, Todd Devine in the U10s, and Tony Paatsch in the U12s. I will know who to call in the future....!

Finally, thanks to you all, parents and players, for embracing this day so enthusiastically...it bodes well for the future of the footy club that there are so many of you willing to become involved...and we hope it stays that way for many years to come!
