The Joeys Senior side was on the back foot from the moment the first siren sounded.

The Leopold boys’ steamrolled the first quarter, James Fitzgerald settled the scoreboard down with a 55 meter - after the siren - goal.

Although not much changed after the first break, Leopold continued with staggering form to produce a respectable lead going into half time.  During the third quarter Joeys lifted to the task and set upon the ball with pace, skill and a sense of electricity, which had been missing prior, this produced an exciting finial quarter ahead.

Unfortunately like the first two quarters, Leopold had the stick over our boys, they produced a quarter where the majority of the ball was in their possession and it reflected on the scoreboard.
