This weekends games were disappointing affairs for both the St Joseph's Senior football sides.

The Reserves received a belting under a very skilled and impressive Leopold opponent.  Similarly with other years, Leopold has gone into the season with a highly rated list and this year was no different, the unfortunate display by Joeys left a sour taste in ones mouth before the start of the Seniors game.

The boys were beaten all over the park, Joeys young list were dealt a cruel lesson, it is hoped that such a performance bolsters them rather than leaving them dejected, this is early times for the Reserves side and with several names either injured or picked for the Senior side, the remaining players certainly had a hard task ahead of them.
