It was an ominous warning, with the bus running late and weather coming in worse by the minute, any skeptics would've been seen running from the seen.

Unfortunately for St Joseph's Football Squad the eventual result from our trip down to Colac wasn't at all flattering.

The Reserves did an outstanding job coming from behind, after a first half of football dominated by our mistakes and Colac's fruitful opportunities being taken, we had a massive task under the circumstances of the weather and a away disadvantage.

But with the likes of young Jimmy Fitzgerald, Ben Podbury and Campbell North fighting with body and soul in the middle and a strong backline holding fast, the finishing touches were placed on by Shaun Voss barreling home a goal which almost slide further than it flew.
